Scar Care Breast Pack Overview:

The Scar Care Combo Pack is a convenient and cost-effective option for managing scars.

This combination pack includes both the Silicone Tape Roll, Areola Circles and the Kelo-Cote UV Scar Gel, offering a comprehensive approach to scar care.

What's Included:

Silicone Tape Roll: 1 x roll (2cm x 3m) of silicone tape, designed to be cut to size for customised scar management. It offers a gentle yet effective method to reduce scar visibility, suitable for various scar sizes and shapes.

Kelo-Cote UV Scar Gel (6g): 1 x silicone-based gel with SPF 30 protection. It provides moisture and UV protection, supporting scar reduction while guarding against sun exposure.

Areola Circle: 1 Pair (7.62 x 1.90cm) of areola circles are ideally dimensioned silicone gel sheets for small hypertrophic and keloid scars resulting from areola and breast surgery.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

How to use Silicone Tape:

1. Clean the Area: Before applying the tape, make sure the scar area is clean and dry.

2. Cut to Desired Length: Use scissors to cut the tape to the appropriate size for your scar. Be sure to cover the entire scar with a little extra on each side.

3. Apply Gently: Peel off the backing and carefully place the tape over the scar. Press lightly to ensure it adheres to the skin.

4. Wear for 12-24 Hours: For best results, wear the tape for at least 12 hours, and up to 24 hours. You can wear it during the day or overnight.

How to use Kelo-Cote UV Scar Gel:

1. Clean the Area: For new scars start treatment as soon as wound is closed or stitches removed. Ensure that the affected area is clean and dry.

2. Application: Apply a very thin layer of KELO‐COTE® onto the scar twice a day, do not rub in.

3. Remove Excess: Self-dries within 5 minutes* forming a flexible, waterproof, transparent layer - remove any excess product if it does not dry completely. Once dry, sunblock and cosmetics can be applied.

4. Treatment Time: Recommended minimum treatment time is 60-90 days. If improvement still occurs after 90 days, continued use is recommended.

How to use Areola Circles:

1. Clean the Area: Wash both scar and hands per cleaning instructions.

2. Open Packaging: Open the non-sterile pouch containing the Silicone Gel Sheet. Remove the gel sheeting from the plastic substrate liner(s) prior to use.

3. Cut to Desired Length: It may be cut into smaller pieces using scissors or a scalpel. Once you have determined the appropriate size of sheeting to use, apply tacky side to the scar. The gel sheeting should fully cover the scar and extend ¼ inch all the way around the scar border.

Areola Circle Cleaning Instructions

Remove every 12 hours to wash both the scar and the gel sheet using SilqueClenz™. In a basin of warm water, work up a small amount of lather with the soap. Gently wash the piece of gel sheeting in the soapy water, rinse, and then air dry. Make sure the sheeting is completely dry before re-applying to the scar. After washing, rinsing and drying the scar site re-apply the piece of gel sheeting.

Areola Circle Wearing Time:

Optimal wearing time for Silicone Gel Sheeting is 24 hours per day. If it is not possible to wear the gel sheet for the recommended 24 hour period, a minimum of 12 hours per day is required, washing per the instructions above once in that period. Follow this procedure each day, washing and re-applying the gel sheeting to the scar for 1 to 2 weeks. At that time the piece of gel sheeting will begin to lose its adhesive quality and/or may become embedded with surface dirt. When this occurs, discard the piece of gel sheeting and apply a new piece.

The overall optimal period of use is usually 8 to 12 weeks.

**Consult a healthcare professional before use if you have concerns about your condition.
If irritation occurs, discontinue use and seek medical advice. This pack does not guarantee complete scar removal but aims to support scar reduction over time.**
